We accept online orders now! Before placing an order, please contact us so that we can verify the availability of the items you are interested in, and further assist you by providing more details about the items. See the ‘PAYMENT’ section below for payment options.
SALES POLICIES
- The 10% consumption tax is charged on all domestic orders (if the shipping and/or billing address is in Japan). On international orders no sales taxes are charged on purchases made on bizenyakikibido.com. In some cases you may be subject to minor taxes and import duties, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.
- Please note that the colors and the patterns may vary as each item is a unique piece of art. For that reason, we encourage you to e-mail us the items you are interested in, so that we can verify the availability of the items you are interested in, and further assist you by providing more details about the items.
- Each item is autographed by our ceramic artist for authenticity. Each item includes our studio certificates.
- Paper gift boxes and gift wrappings are available for most items upon request. Please inquire by e-mail.
- Wooden gift boxes (signed by our ceramic artist) are available for certain items, but will have to be ordered and paid separately. Wooden gift boxes cost approximately ¥500 to ¥2,000 each depending on the size and the purpose.
REFUND POLICY
- If there are any defects or problems with your purchase, you can either return your order for a full refund or exchange it for something else. You can return or exchange your purchase for up to 7 days from the date of receipt of your purchase order.
- Returned or exchanged products must be in the condition you received them and in the original box and/or packaging.
WHOLESALE DISCOUNT
- We offer special discount to retailers and wholesalers. Wholesale discount cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. Please contact us for more details.
We reserve the right to make changes to our Store Policy for any reason at any time.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
- We use Yamato Transport Service or Japan Post Service for most of our domestic and international shipping unless otherwise noted. All shipments are professionally wrapped and packaged for safety.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
- Orders generally ship within one week. For domestic addresses, they arrive within 2 days of shipping.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
- Orders generally ship within one week. Estimated delivery days depend on the shipping method (See below for more details). Please note that the number of delivery days is an estimate. Depending on the situation of delivery transport, customs clearance, and local handling conditions, the number of days will differ. Online tracking code will be provided to you as soon as it becomes available.
- Express Mail Service (EMS): ‘EMS’ is our preferred default international shipping method. It is the most trusted express delivery service in the country. They are sent by air out of Japan and it includes insurance coverage at no additional cost. For international addresses, they normally arrive within 3 to 5 days of shipment (e.g., 3 business days for most U.S. addresses, 4 business days for most Australian addresses, and 5 business days for most European addresses).
- Standard Airmail (SAL): ‘SAL’ offers more reasonable rates at relatively fast delivery times, but it does not include insurance coverage. For international addresses, they normally arrive within 15 to 20 business days of shipment worldwide. ‘SAL’ is the default shipping methods for our special free shipping promotions.
- ‘Surface Parcel Post’ option costs much less, but it can take 2 to 3 months for delivery. It is the least reliable delivery method and is currently unavailable from our store. For more information about different shipping options and restrictions offered by Japan Post Service, please click here.
PAYMENT
Various payment options are available for your purchases.
- At the store: Cash or Credit cards (most major credit cards accepted)
- Online orders: All major credit cards – Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners, JCB – as well as Debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo and PayPal are accepted for all online orders. Bank wire transfers are also available for domestic orders and volume orders. We will provide the necessary information upon request.
